A Review of Multi-Function Array Radar Clutter Rejection Techniques.

Abstract

Basic clutter discrimination techniques are reviewed under various ground clutter conditions in order to determine their suitability in Multi-Function Array Radar applications. The temporal nature of available techniques is shown to impose a penalty upon those systems that are required to detect low-altitude targets. A technique that offers the most feasible means of achieving good clutter discrimination is identified, and its related problems are discussed. (Author)
