Technological Forecasting and Simulation for Program Selection (TEFORS). Volume II. User Guide.

Abstract

The report describes the evolution, design and implementation of the Technological Forecasting and Simulation for Program Selection (TEFORS) system. The system is designed to assist management in the planning and execution of research and development programs by application of operations research principles of simulation, information processing, and management science. The report consists of three volumes: Volume I provides general information, Volume II is a user guide, which discusses the procedures to be followed by both management and operations personnel in using the TEFORS system, and Volume III is a programmer guide which describes in detail the TEFORS system computer program logic.
