Mass-Spectrometric Studies of Graphite Vaporization at High Temperatures.

Abstract

A brief summary is presented for a quarterly research period. Experimented prepartations for high temperature mass spectrometry of equilibrium carbon vapor continue. A RF heating system for small carbon specimens. The Nuclide HT-90 mass spectrometer has exhibited two more troublesome features, in addition to the modulation of all background peaks in the presence of even weak modulated beams.
