Abstract

The report documents the initial steps in the development of a vehicle for testing the concepts and benefits of techniques for automatic segmentation. The project consisted effectively of two parallel efforts: (1) development of a compiler test vehicle which can produce information useful in the segmentation process; and (2) implementation of two segmentation algorithms.
