Phase IIB Development Plan for the Integrated Facilities System.

Abstract

The study presents a recommended plan for the continued development, implementation, and installation of the integrated facilities system (IFS) and discusses the products that have evolved from current developments during Phase 2A. This current phase of IFS development encompasses systems definition, systems analysis, and a functional design of four IFS modules. In performing the tasks associated with Phase 2A, a concept has been developed that integrates the anticipated functional design of modules with the environment in which IFS will operate. The overall plan presents a concept for achieving the IFS goals based on implementing IFS in terms of system capabilities that will be developed incrementally. The detailed plan depicts the tasks, time, products, and resources required to perform systems specification during Phase 2B. (Author)
