Integrated Seat-Propulsion Systems Approach.

Abstract

A unified approach must be adopted to seat and propulsion design in order to advance the save capability of escape seat systems. Rocket propulsion must be considered in the initial concepts of a seat design. Several examples are shown to illustrate a more imaginative approach to seat-propulsion design. (Author)
