Low Cost Energy Transmission System.

Abstract

Initiator, Propellant Actuated, M104, is a lightweight, subminiature, in-line booster designed to initiate a subsequent propellant actuated device (PAD) after being initiated by a preceding PAD within the PAD sequencing system. The M104 initiator is a new PAD item and is status classified 'Standard' for selection and use in U.S. Air Force PAD sequencing systems wherever its specific capability is required. It may be combined with various other components now under development to form a complete lightweight initiating and sequencing system. (Author)
