40-Foot Free-Fall Test Carriage (Feasibility Study of Carriage Use for MIL-STD-331 Test 103)

Abstract

A 1500-pound, high-impact steel carriage is intended for use in screening live-loaded fuzes and components during production under impact conditions equivalent to those specified in the MIL-STD-331 Forty-Foot Drop Test. The test items are mounted inside the carriage to protect them from accidental damage.
