Lance Guidance and Control and Checkout Electronic Systems Nuclear Radiation Vulnerability Study. Volume I. Lance Vulnerability Study Philosophy and Component Test,

Abstract

The purpose of this report is twofold; the first objective is to present the philosophy used in the system analysis. 9This includes the analytical approaches, the methods of applying experimental data to the circuit analyses, and a determination 9of the confidence level in the analytical predictions which might require breadboard experiments to add strength to the analysis. A general system description is given to show how all the areas to be analyzed tie together to make up the missile system. The second purpose is to show what and how experimental semiconductor device data were collected and to present the component data, as a function of neutron fluence, for the devices tested. (Author)
