Assessment of Post-Attack Health Resources

Abstract

This report is an assessment of the damage from a specific nuclear attack to the medical resources (personnel as well as facilities and supplies) of the following five U.S. Cities: San Jose, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Detroit, Michigan; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Providence, Rhode Island. The post-attack medical care capability is discussed for each of the five cities, in terms of the Post-Attack Health Resources available to implement Emergency Health Services.
