Establishment of Cooling Air Requirements for Navigational Set TACAN AN/ARN-52(V).

Abstract

Required cooling airflow versus inlet air temperature curves (ambient temperature and altitude as parameters) were established for the TACAN AN/ARN-52(V) equipment. A static pressure drop versus airflow rate curve was determined. Equipment thermal design features are discussed and cooling blower sizing and selection procedures are included. (Author)
