Abstract

The document reports on Delft's department of naval architecture which is able to work on research problems of its own choosing independent of commercial interests. The facilities of the Department's Shipbuilding Laboratory are reviewed, and recent report titles are tabulated. The work of the Laboratory is mainly in the fields of ship motions and ship maneuvering. (Author)
