Results of a Literature Survey on Clearances Between Component Leads and Printed Wiring Board Holes.

Abstract

A literature survey was made on the subject of soldering component leads on Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) in order to establish a range of clearance between component lead diameters and PWB mounting hole diameters which will permit a reliable solder connection. (Author)
