Abstract

The research discussed in this report includes the program directed by Prof. S. Amelinckx at Mol, the work being done in Prof. W. Dekeyser's solid state institute at the University of Ghent, and the physical metallurgy research of Prof. A. Deruyttere at the University of Louvain. A major portion of this research is concerned with the effects of point defects and dislocations in crystals. (Author)
