A Preliminary Investigation of Analytic Debris Estimation Procedures.
Abstract
A general outline for evolvement of an estimation procedure for debris formation and distribution induced by air blast is presented. The report also includes a review of several technical areas pertaining to wall failure and the distribution of the resultant failed wall sections. The general basis for an estimation procedure was developed in terms of system model representations of the debris formation-to-distribution processes. The specific technical areas studied corroborated the need to develop a construct of the debris formation-to-distribution processes if the elements of the processes were to be developed into useful and representative estimation procedures.
