Dump Storage Temperatures of the Fuel Air Explosive (FAE) Weapon-Desert.

Abstract

The methodology and results of the actual high temperature exposure regime on an FAE weapon out of its shipping container is described. The maximum dump storage temperature measured was 140F for a standard olive-drab-painted dispenser and 116F for a dispenser painted epoxy white. Also, an attempt is made to predict FAE 'in-container' storage temperatures based on exposure data from other weapons. (Author)
