LSI Correlator.

Abstract

A 64-bit forward correlator was designed and is being fabricated. This 3,200-device die is 185 x 225 mils and incorporates Schottky clamped shallow diffused bipolar transistors, cermet thin film resistors, and a two-layer metal interconnect. The circuit is composed of eight 8-bit functional blocks. The purpose of this test pattern fabrication is to evaluate the performance of the 8-bit block, since it will be used as the tested function in the 256-bit (dual 128-bit) discretionary wired final design. The circuit passed semiconductor substrate fabrication and device testing. (Author)
