Airdrop Items for Personnel.

Abstract

This Army Service Test Procedure describes test methods and techniques for evaluating the performance and characteristics of Parachutes, Harnesses, Release Devices, and other items for Airdrop of Personnel - and for determining their suitability for service use by the U. S. Army. The evaluation is related to criteria expressed in applicable Qualitative Materiel Requirements (QMR), Small Development Requirements (SDR), and Technical Characteristics (TC), or other appropriate design requirements and specifications.
