The Climate in Wloclawek and Plock,

Abstract

In conjunction with the projected construction of a system of cascades on the Vistula, the completion of a series of climatic studies of the Vistula valley is essential in order to understand the eventual microclimatic and local climate changes caused by the equalized state of the water as well as the increase in water surfaces. One of the cascades about 11 m high is to be located in Wloclawek and its back-up is to reach above Plock. In order to be able to understand the eventual changes it is first necessary to describe in more detail the climatic conditions of these locations, for which observational data is available, and then briefly characterize the area lying between these towns based on the characteristic structure of the terrain profile.
