Advances in Stress Analysis of Solid Propellant Rocket Grains.

Abstract

A computer program for the elastic stress analysis of solid propellant grains encased in orthotropic, elastic motor cases is given. This program is similar to a previously published program (AMG032) but incorporates refinements in input procedures and solution techniques developed over several years. Present computational times are approximately 40% less than those experienced with AMG032. (Author)
