Abstract
This report described research on dislocations and channeling at the physics department of the University of Oslo; work on precipitation in aluminum alloys, oxides, and internal motions in solids at Oslo's central institute for industrial research; a wide variety of solid state physics programs at the Wihuri physical laboratory of the University of Turku; some experiments on channeling and ion implantation at the research institute for atomic physics in Stockholm; of solid state physics and physical chemistry at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
