Hydrogen Fluoride Chemical Laser-A Demonstration of Pure Chemical Pumping III. Chemical Pumping in a Laminar Diffusive-Mixing Laser System

Abstract

The report describes results of continuing experiments in a laminar-diffusive mixing laser system. Conclusive evidence for CW coherent laser action of hydrogen fluoride is offered, with pumping energy supplied solely by the energy of chemical reaction. Flow conditions of H2 and F2 and other fuels and reactant gases are also presented.
