Internal Pressure Fluctuations on an Axially-Excited Line Array Module,

Abstract

An expression for the internal pressure fluctuations of axially-excited line array module is derived. The resulting force expression on an internal disc is also obtained. Results show that the matching of the elastic characteristics of the array housing and the internal fluid column results in a maximum disc force. (Author)
