Abstract

The purpose of the monograph is to review and analyze ammunition logistics during the Vietnam conflict to derive lessons that will enhance U.S. ability to support future wars. Special emphasis is placed on the adequacy of assets versus requirements, the effectiveness of the planning for and the production and distribution of these assets, the associated controls, and economic considerations.
