Logistic Support in the Vietnam Era. Monograph 5. Communications

Abstract

The monograph reviews and evaluates the ability and adequacy of the military communications systems to provide communications for logistic support of U. S. combat forces in South Vietnam from 1 January 1965 to the present. The review also includes communications contingency assets and their deployment, limitations, and eventual replacement with fixed-plant communications. Special attention is given to the ability of contingency communications to support logistic elements in future deployments.
