Logistic Support in the Vietnam Era. Monograph 10. Financial Management

Abstract

The monograph reviews the manner in which financial management functions have been performed in the DOD during the Vietnam era and identifies the strengths and weaknesses of this management in the provision of adequate and timely logistic support. The intent is to identify those features of the financial management policies and procedures utilized during the Vietnam era that have been directly related to the events that occurred. The recommendations derived from this study should enhance the efficiency with which logistic support is provided in future military operations.
