Abstract

The objectives of the study were to examine and evaluate the transportation support of U. S. ground, naval, and air forces during the Vietnam era, to identify strengths and weaknesses, and to make appropriate recommendations for improving the effectiveness of transportation. The review includes major transportation policies, requirements forecasting, planning, utilization of resources, and movement control.
