Microwave Integrated Circuits for Phased Arrays.
Abstract
A 3-bit MIC phasor was designed and evaluated for use in a phase-scanned cylindrical array. MIC hybrid matrices with four, eight, and 16 ports were made to demonstrate the suitability of MIC's for multiple-beam array antennas. An MIC feed matrix was developed for a cylindrical array. MIC time-delay switches and components were developed for a microwave correlator. Low-cost, small-size, high-reliability components of this type have an obvious application in the integrated antenna system under consideration for operational Fleet vehicles. (Author)
