Interaction Cross Sections of Molecular Oxygen with Electromagnetic Radiation in the Region where the Wavelength is < or = 2500A and > or = 400 A.

Abstract

Total photoabsorption and ionization cross sections for O2 in the wavelength range 400 A < or = wavelength < or = 2500 A were obtained from published experimental data. The data were used to calculate the cross sections for dissociation and dissociative ionization. Computer plots of the cross section data are illustrated. A listing of the cross section data is included. (Author)
