Pulse Compression Filters and Dispersive Delay Lines.

Abstract

The report describes the design and construction of surface acoustic wave pulse compression-expansion filters which operate in the UHF microwave frequency range. A matched pair of filters having a center frequency of 700 MHz, an expanded pulse length of one micro-second, and a bandwidth of 300 MHz was built and tested to demonstrate the procedure. (Author)
