Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (EES).

Abstract

Two major problems existed in the Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (EES) subsequent to its delivery: (1) output amplitude instability of the antenna pattern generator, and (2) inability to synchronize any two PW-PRF generators. The antenna pattern amplitude instability problem was corrected by incorporating compensation circuits and modifying the equipment cooling system. A redesign of the PW-PRF and con scan circuit incorporated the synchronization capability and provided for continuous change of con scan frequency without need for stability adjustments.
