Silicone Alkyd Paints.

Abstract

Two test paints based on silicone alkyd vehicles have been compared with specification paints after 45 months exposure at Kwajalein Marshall Islands; Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Port Hueneme, California. One silicone alkyd paint is performing significantly better than the comparison standards while the other is about the same as the standards. (Author)
