MAGIS: 1000 KW Alternator Development.

Abstract

The design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of the second generation 1,000 kw NADYNE alternator for the MAGIS is reported herein. After several hours of pretest checkout, the 1,000 kw alternator experienced a failure. (Author)
