Echo Pulse Amplification.

Abstract

The applications of amplified ferrimagnetic echo phenomena for microwave signal processing functions such as pulse delay, time compression, and time domain multiplexing are discussed. Physical and electronic performance features of ferrimagnetic echo delay lines are described at X-band and S-band frequencies. Estimates of performance limits are given and operating features compared with alternative means for achieving similar microwave processing functions. (Author)
