Passive Ranging and Target Motion Analysis

Abstract

A review is made of various methods for passive ranging and target motion analysis, including some new methods based on three tracking legs. Estimators for range and other parameters are compared with respect to their responses to errors from four major sources. A program for additional tests and comparisons is outlined.
