Basic Criteria for the Evaluation of Special Processes or Devices Used in Treating Wastewater.

Abstract

The report provides a mechanism by which the performance of processes and equipment can be evaluated for water pollution control. The basic criteria provides the framework within which manufacturers may submit their products for testing with independent testing facilities. The information generated will enable user organizations and regulatory agencies to compare performance of wastewater devices and processes from various manufacturers as tested by the independent testing laboratory. Experimental conditions and data analysis will be uniform for ease in comparison of performance. (Author)
