Research Studies on Problems Related to Broadband and Small Aperture Antennas.

Abstract

A study was made to provide basic information about the properties of multi-arm spiral antennas as single aperture systems. Strip-line fed slot antennas were studied to generate design techniques for low-profile antennas. In particular, antennas which would be suitable for multi-function uses on high-speed aircraft and rockets were investigated. Receiving and transmitting antennas utilizing active devices (transistor(s)) were also studied.
