Multibeam Cathode Ray Tube Development.

Abstract

The development investigated electron gun structures to generate small patterns of individually controllable electron beams and electron optical techniques to accelerate and image these patterns faithfully and with desired demagnification at the screen of a CRT. The work was further divided into two phases covering first, development of a 20-beam photorecording CRT and second, development of a 50-beam real time CRT. (Author)
