Feasibility Evaluation of Status Monitoring System.
Abstract
A technical and operational feasibility evaluation of an 'off-the-shelf' Status Monitoring System was performed in an operational (user) environment to ascertain the operational requirements, and to identify potential problems prior to any future procurements. The Status Monitoring System performed its intended functions as designated by the manufacturer's technical requirements after certain technical deficiencies were corrected. It is recommended that before any future procurements are initiated for additional units that an up-dated version of the Status Monitoring System be evaluated to ascertain its operational characteristics.
