Modified MK VI Mod X-1 Semi-Closed Circuit Mixed Gas SCUBA.
Abstract
The Mark VI Mod X-1 semi-closed circuit mixed gas SCUBA was submitted for testing. Modifications from the standard Mark VI include a canister liner which can be removed for filling, a three point lock on the canister cover, a new method of attaching the canister to the back, a regulator that controls the flow settings through a single orifice by adjusting the regulation pressure, a single control block - D. P. gauge assembly and by pass valve mounted on the front of the vest, and new molded neoprene breathing bags. (Author)
