Development of 500 CFM Gas Sorption Filters.
Abstract
Two improved 500 CFM gas sorption filters (cylindrical element type and pleated bed type) for collective protection against toxic gases were designed, fabricated, and tested full scale with Freon 12. Small-scale toxic gas/Freon life correlations were developed to interpret the full-scale results. The pleated bed design was selected for complete development. (Author)
