Complete Terminal Junction System for Use in Aircraft Electrical and Electronic Circuits.

Abstract

Presentations on their design concepts for a CTJS (Complete Terminal Junction System) were made by six manufacturers. One design was eliminated from consideration as not being pertinent. Copies of the other five presentations were reviewed and analyzed in detail, using a NAVAIRDEVCEN prepared criteria for a CTJS as a guide. The Matrix Science Corporation's design concept and its components were selected as a proposed standard for the Navy. The proposed concept provides a number of advantages, including a reduction in the size, weight, and logistics for the components, standardization and simplification of component installation techniques, and increased circuit reliability.
