Detailed Functional System Requirements (DFSR) for the Integrated Facilities System. Functional Management System Description,

Abstract

The Detailed Functional System Requirements (DFSR) for the Integrated Facilities System (IFS) provides functional specifications for a facilities management system and the automated capabilities required to support the management system. The IFS DFSR is published in four parts to facilitate their utilization and to satisfy the various interests of the users. This part, Functional Management System Description, Part 2, presents functional specifications of the facilities management system (in terms of management processes, activities, and subactivities). Included in the functional specifications are inputs and outputs, designations of points for automated support, interfaces with external systems and organizations, and IFS interfaces between echelons.
