Final Preflight Calibration of ARPA/AFCRL CVF II Spectrometer

Abstract

The final preflight calibration tests of the CVF(Circular Variable Filter) II spectroradiometer were performed in the Aerospace Research Chamber (7V). These tests included linearity, absolute responsivity, angular response, frequency response, and wavelength calibration. The instrument was linear over most of its range, but displayed nonlinearity for high irradiance levels. Wavelength calibration was found to have not changed significantly from a previous calibration.
