Semi-Automated Multi-Unit Track Reconstruction System.

Abstract

The report documents the semi-automated multi-unit track reconstruction system developed. The system is useful in reconstructing ship and submarine tracks for Navy exercises. The inputs to this system are the single-unit rectified tracks output by the COSMOS-A system and inter-unit contact information. It adjusts the tracks of individual units to bring them into relative positions that are in best fit agreement with the contact tracks input. The report includes a description of the multi-unit track reconstruction system, a listing of the FORTRAN source deck for the computer program performing the reconstruction and directions for setting up a computer run.
