Detailed Functional System Requirements (DFSR) for the Integrated Facilities System. Appendixes,

Abstract

The Detailed Functional System Requirements (DFSR) for the Integrated Facilities System (IFS) provides functional specifications for a facilities management system and the automated capabilities required to support the management system. The IFS DFSR provides the information essential for the verification and implementation of both the management system and automated support system, which together constitute the management information system. The IFS supports the management functions of planning, programing, budgeting, execution and review as they relate to real property resources at all command echelons from the installation through Headquarters, Department of the Army, CONUS-wide. The management system description provides the specification of the facilities guidance and reporting system and are presented in three groups: management (assets accounting and facility planning), real property maintenance activities, and new construction. The IFS DFSR is published in four parts to facilitate their utilization and to satisfy the various interests of the users. This part, Appendixes, Part 4, contains a data dictionary for the automated system, specification for IFS inputs and outputs, logical structure of data files, and a glossary of terms. (Author)
