Abstract
Annex J supports the Technical Summary and is restricted to the functional application of Tactical Air Support. This application supports the Tactical Air Support Element (TASE) of the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) at division, corps, and field army echelons. It encompasses the planning, allocation, requesting, approval, and monitoring of close air support and tactical air movement provided by other services in support of army tactical operations. Annex J describes the data base, input and output formats, and transaction processing necessary to support tactical army command and estimates transaction loads and data base volumes. This application interfaces with Weather Data (Annex K).
