Program to Development High Strength Aluminum Powder Metallurgy Products. Phase II. P/M Alloy Optimization.
Abstract
Extrusions and hand forgings made from atomized alloy powders were evaluated to identify the effects of changing Zn, Mg, Cu, Co or Fe+Ni on tensile properties, fracture toughness, stress-corrosion cracking resistance, fatigue resistance, exfoliation resistance and quench sensitivity. (Author)
