Retrieval of Aerodynamic Heating Information. Part 1. Unclassified Material. Supplement 1. Abstracts: 1966-1968,
Abstract
The supplement updates NOTS TP 4137, Part 1, (AD-816 554), by the addition of 1,108 abstracts of reports published during the 3-year period from 1965 through 1968. The information retrieval system, developed to locate aerodynamic heating and pressure information, now contains 3,158 abstracts of unclassified reports and 522 abstracts of classified reports published during the 21-year period from 1947 through 1968. The system uses a computer program to examine abstracted data stored on magnetic tape. A uniform set of key words and letters describing the configuration, type of data, type of tests, boundary layer state, how the data were obtained, etc., constitutes the abstract. A printout of the abstracts is given and may be used for manual searches. A bibliography catalog by author and source is included. (Author)
