Field On-Line Data Acquisition and Analysis System. Concept Evaluation and System Specifications. Volume I.

Abstract

The Field On-Line Data Acquisition and Analysis System (FODAAS) concept proposes the use of digital data processing equipment to automate the data acquisition and analysis required for the evaluation of intrusion-detection techniques. A critical analysis of the FODAAS concept has been performed and a determination made of the hardware and software required to implement the system. This report documents the results of the analysis and provides specifications for the hardware and software which are required to implement the FODAAS concept. (Author)
